What is the Select Program with Rapids FC?
The Select Program is a competitive program that focuses the development of players ages 13U - 19U.  These teams are gender specific.

Where is the Rapids FC Select program located? 
Habersham County, however we have players from many different counties that travel to Habersham for practices.                                                

How does the Select program differ from recreational soccer?                              
The Select Program is geared to acclimate players who aspire to play in a competitive environment.  The competition level is higher and a greater the commitment from the players is expected.

How are select teams formed?
All players within their age group will try out in the summer to make a team.  Teams are usually formed with other player who were born in the same birth year

When and where are tryouts for the upcoming season? 
Tryout dates for the select soccer are typically conducted the end of May and beginning of June.
 

For Select team, will we have to travel all over the state or country to play games?
The majority of games are played against other Georgia Soccer clubs.  Most are within two hours from our home facilities. But some select teams will play games throughout the state of Georgia as well and could possibly be longer/further distances.

What free programs do you offer as a Rapids FC member?
We have free Goalkeeper Clinics to all goal keeper members.

When are the training sessions for Select teams?
Team training occurs two/three nights a week (1½ hour sessions).
